What did you cook or eat today (April 2020)?

Porchetta, prepped and ready to roast. My nduga stock was even lower than I thought, so a bit of research and I came up with a stuffing of rosemary, garlic, anchovy, olive oil, lemon zest, salt & pepper. It's just gone into a low oven for four hours.
Bravo, bravo. I think this will be beautiful. As I say no right way no wrong way just way that suit you.

After crawfish pie for lunch yesterday George cooked a pork roast in his Big Easy infrared cooker.

He injected the roast with Cajun Power Garlic Sauce, dry rubbed the outside and basted with more Cajun Power while cooking.

This was the bottom of the roast - you can see the rings from the basket

The cooker is not designed for smoking but G figured out how to incorporate smoke. :laugh:

I would never serve those two together, is it an amurican thing? I serve fries with mine. Don't get me wrong I love corn, we even grow it. :)

The usual is fries, or chips/crisps, but MrsTasty has fries last night, so I thought I'd do something a bit healthier, by frying some corn in about three tablespoons of butter. :laugh:
I've got weird combos as well,lol.
