What did you cook or eat today (August 2020)?

Nachos. Mine were just cheese sauce, avocado-lime crema, and queso fresco. Craig added taco type ground beef and jalapenos. The crema was delish and we found a new way to make cheese sauce, no bechemel.

Up early and gone, grandsons had rugby this morning so granddaughter needed a lift to netball.
20 min drive to sons and picked Isla up and took her to Lincoln. It's a country town. She plays centre and is quite good. They lost. We bought pies after the game and ate in the car. Home now with miss 11 so we may be baking cookies later.

I shall order some sliced roast beef from my Western Food supplier for this coming Friday. I was thinking along this line for the stuffing.......

Unfortunately my supplier was flooded out following a massive thunderstorm in his area Thirstday last. He had to cancel Friday but hopefully can make in on Monday next.

We put the tabletop grill to work again. With enough ventilation.

I made garlic sauce, cocktailsauce and satay sauce.

And we had several kinds of meat. Lamb cutlets, veal steak, regular steak, pork tenderloin and chicken plus some creative items from the butcher.
