What did you cook or eat today: August 2025?

This evening I made a prawn cocktail (with homemade Rose Marie Seafood Sauce) followed by air fried chicken porting and crinkle cut chips (oh and just for a change, some asparagus)!

Ok, rest of meal, MrsT had eggplant Parmesan on a bed of pasta in a tomato-vodka sauce, along with a dollop of spinach-herb cheese, which sort of melted into it a bit.

I had bacon-wrapped meatloaf with brown-sugar tomato jam, garlic-pepper onion crisps, chive mashed potatoes, and seasonal vegetables.

Dessert was a hot (as in spicy) honey peach cheesecake - NY-style cheesecake with a layer of hot honey peach compote in it, graham cracker crust, sugar cookie crumble, flame-roasted fresh local peaches, hot honey drizzle, local blueberries, and fresh whipped cream. It was phenomenal.
