What did you cook or eat today (July 2019)?

So pretty! And its really quite something to photograph lasagne to look pretty. I'd never heard of Carasau bread.

Grandkids left at 4 this arvo, it's 6.20 pm here ATM. Just made an omelette inspired by mgs pizza. I love shrooms.
So I made eggs cheese chives tomatoes bacon then I kept half back for my omelette.to which I added sliced shrooms.
It was really nice.

Pork Chops with Mustard Sauce, The Sainsbury Book of Quick Meals.
Have cooked this before.
Main ingredients, Pork chop, onion, sherry, stock, Dijon mustard.
What worked, very tasty, simple and as the book title suggests, reasonably quick. There is a 30 min simmering period which was ideal for prepping and cooking sides. I did carrots and sauté potatoes.
What didn't work, a big calorie hit and not very photogenic.
Was going to put this in the mustard recipe challenge but not too sure now.
