Lunch today was a winter picnic lunch out before a walk (3.3km or 2 miles without my crutches, the last 750m were hard going though).
Hubby raided a petrol station for some hot vegan sausage rolls, and he had made up a flask of hot water for coffee with lunch.
Eta: corrected a typo (there may be others! )
PS, he's also only just taken off his gloves, and is wearing a woolly hat and sitting on a thermal mat on that bench!

I had the teryaki bento
I did suggest elsewhere that we may be having a German kebab for lunch. Whilst all the other restaurants in the city centre were reasonably busy, that one was completely empty, so we took the hint and went Japanese instead.

Finally a little sunshine, 4th time this year! So we went to a local dive ( upgraded snackbar really) to enjoy the sunshine. The meal was fine.

I will admit to never having encountered that at a truck stop or other gas station...
