First time I came across Bialetti Coffee. I thought they made only caffettiera. Well, great combo!

My wife rang me from the supermarket today. They have tinned peas here for ฿210.00 do you want any? "£2.50 for a tin of peas! Bloody 'ell no. Get the ฿23.00 ones."

Wrong!

I ate three. The rest were binned.

These were "Pigeon Brand" described as "Green pea seeds in brine". They were hard and tasteless. Maybe they were meant for pigeons?

I wonder if they are 'pigeon peas' which are related to the usual garden pea but not the same plant - popular in Jamaican cooking. They are crisp in texture...

A pickup just drove past - mangosteen's 5 kg for ฿100.00 (about £2.30).

Actually, they didn't drive past, my wife bought 5 kg.

Yorky I made a trip to mi Indian supplier last week with my mate for supplies.
Thai jasmine rice, 5kg for $35 but it's really worth it stepping up,from basmati. I spent about $70 there topping up coriander seeds fennel seeds paneer and a few other things.
I'll see if the bag it came in is still in the bin and take a pic for you.

Hey stranger. Good to see you posting! :okay:

I mostly use Basmati. Jasmine rice is grown in Texas, but it is kind of a specialty rice here. I can get a 25 pound (11.35 KG) for $55 US. A 32OZ package is $7 US.
