What produce/ingredients did you buy or obtain today? (2018-2022)

Did my Green Grocer run this morning and was poking around and found this
I haven't seen Spaghetti Squash in for ever, love this stuff, and so does my Mother.
So my plan for sometime this week is to roast this off and divvy it up between the two of us ... DH hates this, me, I'm excited!!!

I can get other Purnell products, but the smoked one…only at that one Meijer.

I've never even seen the smoked version. It has to be liquid smoke. Really smoking the sausage would cook it. A cold smoke probably wouldn't be safe.

That is a good brand of breakfast sausage.

All I can figure is, the manager of that particular Meijer likes it as well, and that’s why it’s stocked.

Thai hot chillis from the evening market yesterday.

About 10 were chopped to top-up the pickle jar, about 24 were vacuum packed and frozen and the rest went back in the fridge for later.

That’s pretty close to what I just paid - $1.15 for two. At the organic farmer guy around the corner…$1 per head.

I like comparison shopping with folks here, so:

2 tomatoes - $0.60
1 garlic head - $0.57
1 lemon - $0.79
Total - $1.96 = €2,02
