I love domades as well. I prefer the vegetarian ones in good quality olive oil.

I've seen the leaves in cans, jars, and vacu-pac.

Grape vines are really easy to grow. Growing grapes on them is much more difficult, lol, but if you just want tender leaves, it's not hard.

Halal Chicken..I owe this to bucytom..it's become a favorite. I've never been to Manhattan, so this is my version....Great, easy, recipe...

We had about 10 cucumbers given today (and we already had a few). My wife suggested "Stir Fried Cucumber with Egg" (แตงกวาผัดไข). I've not come across this before but we'll give it a try. We still have a glut of eggs.

Mmmm, Halal cart chicken and rice.

That looks delicious. No hot sauce?

What's in your marinade?

Jarred grape leaves. I found a way to get the briny/vinegary taste out of them when I was looking for a filling I liked. A bit time/labor/water use intensive, but it works and, since I really dislike those tastes, worth it. I ended up combining a couple of filling recipes, a vegetarian and a meat one, so I'll actually have to write up a recipe.
