What did you cook/eat today (December 2019)?

After Saturday's record breakingly hot day (43.4°C), today was a mild 34°C ... but it still warranted another cold soup day.

This is also going to be an entry for the beetroot challenge when I find the time to write it up (Christmas Day perhaps? )

Well, that was good!!!

Yesterday evening one of my friends turned 50 and had a high tea buffet . There was less choice than expected, but I pictured pumpkin soup, sandwiches with tuna & salmon, and a raspberry & white chocolate tart.

The savory sandwiches were the tastiest.

It looks delicious - good photo. Is that a bit chunk of gingerbread on the side? :scratchhead:
Thanks, that was taken at a different spot in my kitchen. Maybe the light is better.

No, that's pumpernickel bread, though.

Went to our favorite Mexican place for lunch. Used some of the leftovers from lunch and from Saturdays dinner to snack on as dinner.
