A young gal who was seated behind me ordered the Smoked Burrata and it smelled heavenly... she asked for also a small side green salad and was accommodated
that was one of my choices, next time!Goats cheese salad sounds good.
Well if his goal was to impress you by his good taste, he certainly succeeded, didn't he?On this day, 35 years ago, TVC and I had our very 1st date. This evening we are going back for a meal.

I tried one when I was in the UK a couple of years back. Your sommelier friend is spot on. The sauvignon blanc was crisp, fruity, and beautifully balanced. I'd recommend it over any other I've ever tasted.one of my Gal Pal's daughter, who is a Sommelier and head dude at a top notch winery, told me once that if ever offered choices on a wine, always go for the ones from New Zealand...
The pre-starter, of course, followed by either the Brie croquettes or the soup (depending on what the soup is), either the pork tenderloin or the tiger pie (I’ve never had tiger!![]()
), the brownie, and an old fashioned to start, the cider with my meal, and a boozy coffee of some sort at the end.
Enjoy!
We did thank youOh my! That menu looks absolutely fabulous! Enjoy your evening!
