I´ve got 1 1/2 kgs of prawns - but no way am I going to use them with tomato ketchup+mayo (Marierose). Curry leaves, Thai chiles, coconut, shallots - now that sounds better!

I made buttermilk pineapple pancakes with Malibu rum. They were fantastic! My husband asked me why the pancakes I have made lately are so darned good, and I told him about that bottle of Malibu rum that our old neighbor gave us that we have had for 3-4 years now. I also quite happily told him that it was almost gone, and he said, "Well we will just have to get some more of that stuff!" Sigh.

I have a mini leg of lamb in the freezer I have been wondering what to do with. This might be it!

More easy food because of on-call hours; pesto pizza with roasted cherry tomatoes and Italian ground sausage.

That's a 75% whole wheat same day crust, so it looks a little dense, but it was actually pretty good.
