Pumpkin risotto
Chicken breast bites with paprika and vegetables (carrot, yellow pepper and celery)
Sounds lovely. Do you eat risotto as a 'starter'?

Did not take picture because my parents would think I'm going crazy 😅

Gosh - I thought almost the whole world was used to people taking photos of their food on their phones these days. I'm guessing your parents are younger than me, too.

my parents are very old school :D (they are in their sixties) if I take out the phone while we are eating they would say "put that *** phone away!"
in Italy meal time is very important :laugh::laugh:

risotto here is a first dish (instead of pasta)
for second dish usually we have meat or fish or cheese or big salads...

when I eat alone, usually I have a first dish for lunch and a second dish for dinner :D but as I said...my parents are old school!

Borsjt, Ukraine's national soup. With sour cream and chives.

Last night, a pizza that used to be a favorite of mine when we lived in Minnesota - bacon cheeseburger pizza: ground beef, onion, bacon, and the cheese is a mix of mozzarella and cheddar.

Salad had honey-mustard dressing. Very mustardy, and I miscalculated how much mustard was left in the bottle.
