Like I said before, I don´t snack...
but yesterday I couldn´t resist buying a packet of crisps (potato chips). Kroger´s Hot Dill Pickle chips. I thought they´d be a bit like salt & vinegar - but they were even better. They tasted of hot dill pickles
And the best thing is - no-one else in the family likes them, so I´ve got them all to myself!

I try not to keep potato chips in the house as they are a serious weakness.

I lost a few - a couple to unknown causes and three escapees. My back had gone out for one of those and although he or she stared at me for a few minutes while I tried to figure out how I could reach down and catch it - and I couldn't - that quail finally then walked away.
At any rate, I was left with too few quail per "condo unit" for winter - you need more than two or three per unit when the weather freezes - so I went and froze the rest of them for a few future meals. (Putting them all together in one unit would push them into aggressive behavior to each other since they didn't all grow up together with each other. Those tiny little brains they have can be quite mean.)
I will start up quail again next year.

Personally, I don't enjoy sweets. Give me crackers, especially home made! If you can get 'em, senbei (rice crackers) are really amazing and crunchy as, too!
